Lifeboat

I did not know it at the time, but because of the pandemic, this turned out to be my very last play as a drama mama at JHS. I’m a little glad I didn’t know, because I would have cried like a baby. But at the same time, I am deeply saddened that the senior one acts won’t be happening at all and Brynn’s senior year has been truncated.

This play was written by Nathan Holley, one of Brynn’s classmates, and was put on as the competition piece for JHS this year. It did well at region the day before the shutdown, and qualified to compete at the state level.

It is about the events onboard the Titanic the night it sank. Brynn played Thomas Andrews, the architect of the Titanic.
